Not-so high end game...

Hello everybody! I recently aquired a bit of money so I have decided to buy a game. Problem is, I need a game That isn't to high end so it will look O.K on my slighyly crappy computer. Any kind of game is good so im ot picky.

Here are my specs:
2GB of DDR2 ram
AMD 64 X2 (2.1 ghz dual core)processors
8500 GT 512 mb graphics card
on-board sound

*cough* bit torrent *cough* dont waste to much money on a game you wouldnt know much about. Look for trial / demo games to test out some first. Then consider buying one. LOTR:Battle for Middle Earth

just get Warcraft 3 its better then BFME.

I think I would go for Bard's tale or Dungeon Siege II. Any of those will run more than fine in your PC. U can also try The Elder Scrolls IV - Oblivion if u don't have it yet.

i used to have his same vid card and that game run like crap on my pc....i had to lower everything to low settings and the game would still lag in a lot of spots

Really?? Then I might need some serious update... I still have a AGP card that is worse than that and I was hoping to play some of those games (mine is a Nvidia FX5600 256MB. Old pc and I don't play as much as I used to :P). At the moment I have Dungeon Siege installed (the 1st one) and runs great. Maybe u need to backtrack as much as this. Gothic 2 also runs good

Titan Quest with the expansion Immortal Throne, it's a great 3D hack 'n' slash RPG like Diablo 2 but with way better graphics. If you liked D2 I'm sure you'll like this too.

Hmmm.... I actually find the 8500 GT isn't a bad card. It runs most of my games (gothic 3, Oblivion, Orange box, The witcher) on high or maxed out settings with like 25-40 frames per second. Although there have been some good sugestions, is there a game that looks, you know.... pretty?
