I'm only looking for a couple things in an MMORPG.

1.) Is it fun to play?
and
2.) Will it still be fun months after I start?

Everything else is just extra, the determining factor of whether I continually log in is just dependent on how fun it is. I think sometimes people forget that no matter how many adjectives you tack onto the noun it still is that noun. The end of MMORPG is "G," and that means game. Games are meant to have fun in. !

I COMPLETLY AGREE,that would be so uber...and it has to have some atmosphere in the maps,like when its a elven forest it must be all shiny,and nature and like it doesnt exist in rl full of lore

well i dont rlly know how to have the peeps make their own stuff but like events where peeps do it and send pics and stats to us then like top 100 items or monsters we would put in game. and it wont just be about fighting. like many other things for those peeps who dont like just grinding or those who are against
violance. you can build/work on houseing. get pets. farming. chating (duh) mani mini games kind fo like territory wars.
each team owns 3 castles and every sec you get one point per castle. conquer castles to get more points and less for the other team. basicly wow battle field. how about also a map where 4 teams play and monsters come in through the side and start attacking the wall of the castles. starting at lvl 1 going through the highest lvl. if the castle dies then you loose. after 3 castle loose then the winning castle gets an item. a currency to spend on high lvl items. i will describe more of these later on. and tell you just how many there are.

I love quests! Proper quests with a actually story a give fair rewards for what you have done, although kill X of Y are ok as long as they arn't the only quests and they give good exp for doing them.
I also love being able to solo. Party play is fun but sometimes searching for a party can be boring so i want to be able to solo and still get good achievements for doing so.
EDIT: Totally agree with with chickendewd the game must be fun. I loved SWG free trial even with all the bad press. Trying out Lotro hopefully that will be better or worse cos if i love them the same then i will probaly pay £18 per month to play MMOs and i dont want to do that.
