Mmm I don't like that :S you should make it so they make more money killing higher lvl monsters than killing boss :S and there should be much more than 7 dungeon, I mean many dungeons for the same lvl range, (wow im lvl 17 and I fight monsters in that ice cave, the fire one is lvl 200 :O I guess ice monsters are weaklings :o ) you need to feel free to kill all kinds of monsters, some time you get bored of the same old dungeon where everything is almost the same color :S Also pvp should not be the best way to get equipment and stuff, crafting should be better and bosses should be around the same...


Now im just starting to wonder... will it be free ? (cause you know you just asked that in free mmorpg section...)

It was just an example,my point was.....
You don't need levels if you can 'upgrade' your char in a different way, like mabi, or monster hunter were armors set your 'level'.
Skills are obviously a part of a mmo.

what i mean is 7 main dungeon. each continent (4) has 7 main dungeon. then there are normal places with no dungeon that you can kill random monsters. in this game the only difference in dungeon then normal is the monsters some look that same but they are harder to kill. like a lvl 250 monster named helion not in a dungeon you could kill but the elite helion guy in the dungeon would take at least 2+ peeps to kill.

there are many dungeon. not just ice cave for example. there would be like a fire cave, an earth cave ,fire cave 2 ice cave 2,3,4 example but they would be named differently and the monsters would be from the same group. so in the fire cave there would not be a water guy.


a fire mage is not just fire. its fire,archon=evil

a pally has a light pally and a dark pally. light pally has differ skill but can still get the dark pally skills.

its the same class pally but you pick skills to get like world of warcraft. a light pally can heal and a dark pally can debuff.

Not a bad idea at all, I had some of my own little idea's as I grew up as well.

Tho I would like to wish you luck, with that much stuff going in, and decent gameplay, decent graphics as well.. you'll be spending like 3-4 years with a 50 man team making that game.

Now with you and your best friend, you'll be making a playerworld based game.
Sorry to burst your dreams like that, but I think every mmo gamer has these little dream's like these. (Oh when I grow up, Im going to make a game which has everything! It'll be the best) And they make notebooks full of information which will be used in the game, I mean sure, its a nice idea..

But quite long term. So if your actually serious.. I'll be checking your game out in a few years or more.

(Sorry about that rant, but I felt I needed to add that.)

Btw, those dragon idea's are awesome.
Little idea I thought of : You should make each npc have their own lifestyle.. meaning you actually see them wake up, get dressed for work or what not, watch them walk to their stalls and open it up. Of course that would be alot of scripting but, eh thats the job of making a game.

Man actually what I told you last time was not to do an upgrade for the same classes when you can just add more stuff but that is the kind of thing for which you should have made many classes...

o ya i forgot. our attack system is not like others. only ranged attacks like spells are targeted. you just have to attack and hope it hit the enemy. so you use ur sword and attack if the enemy is behind you of course it will miss. mages target because their attacks are homing missles kindo but not a 100% hit thats cheap. we are trying to make each class fair and not better then others. the classes are unique also. a blade is a job adv of a worrier. its not a like a flyff blade. still both have 2 weps. but out blade has blades that you hold and are well i can explain wait till a draw a general pic and upload it. but first how do you upload a picture?
