look into big upcoming games and more because you wont release this game for a while so you will have to look over games in the upcoming future and make your game even better.
Look into games like Warhammer, Age of conan and other interesting games, to get better ideas and make the game more fun. thats a great idea about the aiming like cross hair and stuff kinda like age of conan. It will addict and be good. Like gunz it will require skill and if you are good at the game then it will be extremely fun and amazing. While if you suck, u might just quit. Dont make it too hard of a system to learn. But make it skill based not just button mashing, depends on how good your gear are game. Like age of conan a low lvl can beat a guy that plays 24/7 and has like tier 5500000000 gear because hes better at fighting. ya 250 lvl cap no change friends and i agree on it. also the maps are giant. 2 main world maps so far. 1 has 5 islands. hell, heaven, earth, event map , and a map you have to fly too. in the 2 world map its just a giant land mass. to get there you have to fly some where in the first map. this place has all the high lvl monsters and stuff. it has the last boss Valkyrie, and the last monster helion.

hmm i enjoy crafting. really liked it in martial heroes- leave char overnight on mine plant and at morning create armors from ingredients and sell them. nice cash income. didnt really tried crafting in perfect world, played too little. also enjoyed making potions from plants and mushrooms in Astonia 3.5, if your profession is alchemist there u can make strong potions which buff you and sell them to other players for gold.

My opinion on what makes a good game...
-- Low amount of levels, but hard to obtain levels... example: not 100+ levels but it takes a long time to actually get them... Having 100+ levels only actracts little kids who are like "OH YAY I JUST GOT LIKE TRIPLE DIGIT LEVELS NOW IM AN AWESOME PERSON". -- Strategy, variety of classes and must include... - A buffer - A tank - An archer - A nuker (mage) - A healer - A damage dealer using physical weapons Strategy must conist of many things, and each class must have powerful attributes and weak attributes... -- All classes MUST be able to wear ANY type of weapon/armor... I'm sick of this "only archers can use bows" crap... However, archers should get passives that increase their dmg with a bow by a ton... -- Game must be challenging... I also think that armor/weapon drops should be very rare... As opposed to this crap where it drops over and over but all the weapons/armor becomes useless to sell... They should just drop adena almost every kill rather than a weapon and armor. -- Levels must be hard to get, but skills should be hard to use and have special powers that allow more advanced/strategic players to win over people who are higher level... Example: A level 40 should be able to kill a level 50 because the 40 knows what certain types of skills to use and the level 50 is only using the skills on his f1 key. -- Skills from every class must be pretty specific as in Tanks don't get buffs and neither do nukers... Along with the fact that the physical damage dealer doesn't get nukes... --- This is of course in exception to self-buffs. -- -- Certain classes must be able to resist certain skills and other classes not resist them... Example: A tank must be able to resist stuns more than a nuker. A nuker must be able to resist nukes more than a damage dealer. -- Don't conform to the standard that the bigger the number of your levels, stats, or gear can possibly get to the better a game is... Because even the player base doesn't think it's a fun game just because they can get to level 9999 gabillion. -- Mounts must be pretty hard to get, especially if your going to have dragons... I think it should be a dragon only if you win a special big big event... -- PK's must be possible and punishment for pk'ing CANNOT conist of "you get teleported to a spot and you now can't do anything"... If you pk you should just be able to die from other players and have a chance of dropping gear. NOTHING MORE nothing less... I hate when i kill a player or 2 and now i get ported or i can no longer even function OR FOR GOD'S SAKE i get a debuff... -- Having different worlds is cool w/e, having different factions can work... BUT YOU MUST WORK EXTREMELY EXTREMELY HARD AT BALANCE. You have to think here, if you have different factions each faction MUST be EXTREMELY even with the other faction. Or else your gunna have mass people on one faction and not on any of the others... --- I can't stress enough how annoyed i get when one faction has tons of power... If your not going to spend a lot of time/work balancing it... You should just not have factions imo... -- Raid Bosses/Bosses must be difficult, monsters must be extremely hard to run away from... I hate when there are games were the monsters simply walk back to their original spot after a few seconds of running after you... -- I highly think that monsters should take a while to kill, but you should also take a while to die... I'm sick of this "you get 2 shot by monsters and you 1 shot monsters" crap. It should take 15-20 hits to kill one (if your a fast attacker) but it takes 50-60 hits to kill you... -- Hopefully, if possible, you will have different archers each specializing in one thing... Personally what i would do is make 3 factions. Have one be extra damage, one be extra defense, and one be nothing in particular (decent at both). Then have an archer/buffer/nuker/healer/tank for each faction. These buffs being specific to the faction as well as the classes... Example: -- Defensive Faction (heaven) -- - Buffer gives things that increase defense more than things that increase damage. - Tank has alot of defense but pretty crappy damage naturally. - Damage Dealer doesn't have normal damage but also decent defense. -- Offensive Faction (hell) -- - Buffer gives things that increase damage more than defense. - Tank has more damage than the defensive tank but not as much defense. - Damage dealer does more damage than the defensive faction but has less defense. -- Normal Faction (earth) -- - Buffer gives a mix of both - Tank has decent defense and decent damage. - Damage dealer does damage and has defense at same time. As an extra note... Crafters are always something good for a game... But as far as class specification for certain factions... That is something i don't think will clash very well... Defensive crafter and an offensive crafter? Seems like a bad idea imo. ---- Classes unmentioned follow the same pattern :P. --- Wide variety of skills, you should add some special skills that are wierd and special... Something that will set your game apart from the rest hopefully. This is just my opinion on the basis of a good game, hopefully it is taken into consideration :P. -- I know this is a long post but I have a lot of time and nothing to do .

No more Asian settings, we rarely make games in colonial settings, nobody cares about Asian or American history, only European fantasy.
