For those having trouble with the japanese page following the instructions:
If you get a
blank page, you will have to start over from the beginning, getting the link/code from the email.
The buttons that verify your ID and nickname I had problems with, make sure the stuff you enter is correct before hitting verify or you may have them glitch on you after subsequent clicks and will have to start over.
The patching of the client takes incredibly long even with a decent connection. A couple of hours is about right.
Make sure you restart the patcher every time it finishes until there is nothing left to download so it can update it with any new missing files.
