My computer was fine, I could play most games without any problems, but yesterday I tried to play SP1 (Silent Plot 1, a Korean MMO) and I got a BSOD, I thought ''okay'' and just restarted my computer. Now, when I started it, it said ''NTLDR not found'' (which I think means that there is no OS installed), so I went into the BIOS and saw that one of my hard disks were gone.. I shut it down and watched TV for a while, then I started my computer again, now it worked fine. I tried playing SP1 again, and I got the same BSOD (it had a different message too, both showed some file, and this time it was some other file). I restarted again, and this time it started without any problems.
The next day (today) I decided to play CoD4 (SP), and right at the start, it froze for a few seconds, then it just unfreezed, then it freezed again after a few seconds, and the computer shut down by itself (no BSOD). This time, I got a different message when I started my computer, and I saw in the BIOS that BOTH of my hard disks were gone.. I kicked my computer out of anger, and it worked again, both hard disks returned. Now, I thought ok, no more games for me, and I watched a little video someone posted on ONRPG, and I got the BSOD AGAIN! Can someone please help me or tell me why this is happening? I know the message in the BSOD would help, but I didn't write down what it said, but I will when I get it again. |

BSOD = Blue Screen of Death, I don't know too much about it, so you should just google it.
And yes, I'm virus scanning right now, but it's gonna take pretty long, so I decided to still post a topic, and hope Fabian or another comp-savvy person is out there somewhere. |

Its possible that there are some corrupt files in the games you are playing.
Hard drive could be failing. There are a couple of things that could be happening though. But since it seems to be happening with the games you are playing, try some other games see if it doesnt happen with them, or just those two. You could try to uninstall/reinstall the games and see if you still have an issue. Check the forums of the two games and see if anyone else had BSoD errors when they play. You could take it as far as reformating your PC, but I wouldnt recommend that quite yet.
