I like that one better. The thing wrong with the one currently in your signature is that it looks too plain in the middle, like you did nothing to it.

I don't like the colors in this new one. The background looks pretty nice though. (w/out the c4d's)

There's really nothing to your background, which isn't a bad thing if you had a little bit more going on in the signature.
You need more blending, or better blending I should say, on the render.
Your C4D is place imporperly, and needs to be blended better.
Your text could also use some work.

I'd scrap it and start over imo.
