Basically it falls into your grinding style. Are you like me? Do you grind for 30 minutes, get bored and go do something else? Or do you grind for hours on in, without breaks/stop? If you grind for hours, Steelies/Tobis are for you. If your like me, then Ilbis are your best bet.

Steelies last longer, making them better for long grind sessions, sacrificing weapon attack for duration (200 stars may not seem that much, but in bulk it'll add an hour or more to your training time). If you don't grind for very long, Ilbis are very good for you. More weapon attack, in my opinion they are cooler looking, which draws your attention and might make you grind for longer.

Theres my view on it. For the way I train, Ilbis>Steelies. For some people, Steelies>Ilbis.

Of course Ilbis are way better than Steelies. I mean think about it, 2 extra wep attk. Trust me it helps a lot. Why do you think 2 attk pink capes are so much cheaper than 4 attk ones? If you have the money, definentaly get the ilbis. It could mean the difference between killing something in 2 hits vs.3. Not to mention once you get shadow parter, thats 4x the power that you will get from each star.

I say get the same number of ilbis and steelies. then, you know when you run out of ilbis, your half way through your stars. trust me, as a hermit you burn through stars super fast.

You just answered your own question.
Ilbis give more attack, expand your use slot to max, buy about 30 ilbis and you're good to go.

Well, without a budget, obviously ilbis are better. But wolfs right in saying that tobis are best for a 10m or so star budget, steelies and tobis for 20-25, steelies only for like a 40m and ilbis only for like a 90m budget. Thats just my opinion, seeing as how I hate having to go back to town to recharge. id much rather train until I needed to repot or go to FM and just recharge while im there. I hate going solely for a recharge.

Depending on your lvl, 2 atk may or may not make that much of a difference. Sure a 4 atk costs around 40-50 mil more, but thats just for high lvls who want THE best gear around. That 2 atk can be made up by upgrading your claw or wg by more. It is much cheaper to up your wg from 6-8 or 8-10 or your claw than to buy enough sets of the next lvl of stars to last you. Thats why it is recommended to only use ilbis when you can afford 10 sets or more. Tobis ftw

if your going to be a sindit, DEFINATLY tobis. As wasting all that money to not get terribly far isn't great, and with tobis you can get to SB level quite fast.
Especially with pqing.

Well, it depends how much money you have. 2 att wont make a difference in your training at all.. esp at your lvl. Even like at lvl 17x or somthing, 2 att is only probably about 100-150 more damge per star. When i was training at squids, using steelies made training no more faster then when I used my ilbis. When you start using Shadow Partner to train, you're going to be burning stars very fast, so you'll need at least 10 sets of stars if u dont wanna be going back to town every 45 mins. You should first upgrade your claw before thinking about upgrading your stars. Quantity>Quality Claw>WG>Overall>stars
