Default Photoshop Question

I was just wondering, How do you make a render stick out the top of the canvas, like Fieren(?) did for his signatures? I like it lawl

Make a canvas size big enough and save it as a .PNG after you're done with it.

Select a transparent background when opening a new project, make the canvas size larger than your actual tag, and place the render somewhere so that it sticks out. There are tuts out there explaining how to do it, but that's basically it. Search "pop out sig tutorials" or something.

yea its a pretty simple task to accomplish...im the biggest noob in photoshop and im able to do it...i was gonna do it for my sig but i left it completely blank...just create a new picture witha transparent backround.....dont take up the whole space available to you with adding a backround......say if you create a new picture and the size is w-400 l-100.....make a backround thats about w-200 l-100 so that way you have half of the picture still transparent and just add a render to the pic so that it sticks out from the top...make sure its saved as a .png though

this is an example of something i made quickly

When you make a new project, select it to be transparent, not white.

Then when you get done with the background, make the canvas size bigger and place your render where you want it to go.
