Radon

Velios unstrapped his glaive shields from his left arm and waited for the bears to attack as they started to circle him.

Velios blocked one of the bear's claws with his shield and hurled the other glave shield to the other bear to prevent it from coming closer. Velios bashed the bear close to him with his shield and hurled the other shield that just got retrieved to it. The bear let out a growl of pain as its right front foot got sliced with the attack. Velios took this moment to finish the bear off by focusing to it, hurling his shields simustaneously. The other bear tried to help his comrade by charging to Velios who dodged it gracefully with a backflip but the bear was too late for his ally was already sliced up into pieces.

With one of the bears defeated, it'll be easier for Velios to finish the fight. Velios crouched down, preparing for an attack but then he heard someone scream from the distance. He quickly turned his look Sandra, realizing that she's the one screaming.

Sandra was lying in the ground, shaking. She was all covered in blood.

"Sandra!!!"

Anger started to form on Velios as he fights the bear. He needs to finish his fight as soon as possible to help Sandra. With each scream Velios hears, he becomes angrier until he can't control himself anymore.

Velios started shouting with each attack he does to the bear. He jumped back and hurled the two glaive shields at the same time by holding on to the middle of the chain. Velios quickly drew his demon blade and leapt at the bear at the same time as the chains of the glave shields coiled the bear up. The demon blade looked like it has a life of it's own but everything happened so fast that the others didn't really noticed at all. The sword's mouth was grinning, the fangs were pointed at the enemy, and above the hilt is an eye that slowly opened.

"RAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!"

Velios sliced the bear in half with one attack, though also slicing the chains of his shields that immobilized the bear but Velios couldn't care less for his shields, Sandra was far more important.

Right after slaying the bears, the magical wards disappeared on its own. Velios dropped his great sword that already returned back to normal and ran to the little witch's position as fast as he could. He kneeled down, lifted her up and hugged her tightly, wiping the blood from her face as she continued screaming.

"It's ok... It's ok... I'm here now..." Velios mumbled, hugging Sandra tighter.

Sandra started to calm down a little...

((OOC: there are five bears in total and we're only four so i took two of them on :P oh and i don't think that Sandra is unconscious since she was still screaming when she fell to the ground.)

"It's ok... It's ok... I'm here now..."

Sandra slowly calmed down and returned to reality. She holded Velios tightly and started to cry as she saw him hugging her.

"Velios! Velios! Waahhhh!!!" Sandra continued crying until her tiredness slowly drifted her to sleep.

(OOC: pssh! short post lol :P and yeah Sandra didn't fell unconscious when she fell to the ground))

Seeing Sandra collapse worried Vyak who began to make his way to her position. That was in till he saw Kyste and Velios where already there beside her. Vyak slowed his pace after seeing this.

Upon reaching his companions he noticed the ground was now red. The think green grass which was once a bright green was now stained with a dark velvet red! Not knowing any words of comfort Vyak just stood behind Velios as he embraced Sandra. His companions seemed well enough to travel none too injured from the bear fight. Just beginning the journey, resting seemed out of the question but because of what transpired Vyak did not dismiss the idea.

“We should move away from this blood,” mentioned Vyak, “for when Sandra wakes up.”

"I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." Velios mumbled as Sandra continued crying. Sandra's eyes were the same as before when Velios spared her life, the first time that they've battled.

Upon remembering this, Velios bit his lips. He couldn't help but to blame himself for leaving Sandra's side. He continued saying sorry until Sandra finally fell asleep. Velios paused for a few seconds. A tear flowed from his eye but wasn't really visible for his face is fully covered by his bone helm. He continued blaming himself for all of this. His only wish is to protect and see Sandra's sweet smiles.

“We should move away from this blood,” mentioned Vyak, “for when Sandra wakes up.”

Velios only replied with a nod before picking up Sandra's staff and standing up. He walked towards his equipments, stepping on some of the broken chains of his shields. Upon his way to his weapons, Velios thought deeply of what's best for Sandra. When he reached the place where his weapons lie, he picked them up one by one, strapping the shields on his left arm and hanging the massive sword on his back, careful of not dropping Sandra.

Velios paused once again for a few seconds before turning around to face Kytse and Vyak. He has made a decision. This decision would probably make Sandra hate him forever, but Velios thought that this is what's best for her.

"Kytse..." Velios emotionlessly said. "We'll leave Sandra at the next town."

((OOC: Whoa this is getting dramatic ))

Kytse eyes flared - not the ordinary kind of flare but it seemed there was a sharp anger, its like his pupils flickered like a flame, like daggers stabbing directly into Veilios face

"No." Kytse said, his voice was rather cold. "She knew what she was doing when she joined us, she knew there would be troubles and we're not just abandoning her in the city of Darkness. You know she wants to do this, and its her choice, no. Were not abandoning her, understood?"

"Come on, we should get going, weve wasted too much time here.", Kytse remembered the day he had met Sandra, it was when they were about 18 years old, they quickly became freinds.

One day he decided to leave, and start his pilgramage. Sandra had begged to go with him.

"Please Kytse, dont... dont abandon me now." She had pleaded with him.
"But, you might get hurt..." Kytse replyed, his eyes were full of concern.

She had pleaded with her for hours until Kytse had reluctantly accepted, and he had no regrets of it, now, and he was damn sure as hell he wasnt going to give her up anytime soon.

"No, we stay there for a week then head off, with Sandra."

1. Velios is already carrying Sandra
2. ... when Sandra was still 14? did you read Velios' and Sandra's history? Sandra grew up as an evil witch until about the age of 16 which is when she met, fought and lost to Velios and ever since that day, she's been travelling with him which makes Velios and Sandra met Kytse for only a few months.

Which makes Kytse and Vyak almost know nothing about the two's past except that they're close to each other.

Vyak just stood back as Velios suggested his thoughts to Kytse. To leave Sandra behind seemed like a good plan given her reaction to lots of blood.
Who knows how much battles they will be in and how much blood will be spilled. If she cannot fight in a situation like that she is a liability. Not to mention Velios knows her more than he does. From what he could tell Sandra is close to Velios, he would not want to harm her in any way. Velios probably thinks it is the best thing for her but Kytse does not. Vyak was not sure what he was missing.

“Why would Kytse want to keep a witch that cannot stand the sight of blood in a mission like this? Did he know her in some way…,” Vyak thought to himself.

Vyak just figured he missed something and moved it to the back of his head. The pilgrimage would definitely be different with one less companion. The party began to move, Vyak readied himself hoping to learn something about the situation on the path to the City of Darkness.
