Here goes, i was pretty bored so i decided to make a warrior guide. This is for Pages, but it will work just fine for fighters and spearmen other than the skill build for the second job.

Creating your warrior. When you create your warrior. Roll a

Str-X(anything)
Dex-X(anything)
Int-4/5
Luk-4/5

I suggest getting a 4 on Int and a 5 on Luk, or a 5 on Int or a 4 on Luk. This way, you wont be rolling your dice for more than 5 minutes. You can do 4 Int and 4 Luk if you really want that extra stat point. Your Str and Dex are optional because your stats will always add up to 25. Since your Str and Dex are your main stats, you will be adding them as you level, so it will all come out correct. After rolling your stats, you will be forced to pick your character settings. Choose any weapon to start off with, it is not a big deal at all.

Now you start your life in Maplestory. You start off in Maple island. When you first come in, you will have a box with the game controls on your screen. Quickly read them and continue. Do these short quests until you get to snail hunting ground 1. After every level, add all 5 points into strength. Once your strength is at 35. After this, add points into dex until it's at 20. Make sure you do the 2 quests on maple island(refer to quests section for those). Once level 10, to the South perry and take the boat to Victoria Island. Here's the training guide until level 10:

1-4~~Green/blue snails
5-10~~Blue/red snails, shrooms, (some orange mushrooms inbetween for the quest)

When you arrive at Victoria island. Go to the right until you reach the ticket booth. Talk to the guy in there and warp to Perion, the warrior city. In perion, go to the very top right of it, and go inside to the building. Talk with Dances with balrog to become a warrior. Now, get a new weapon and the top for your level. After you buy these items. Go right of perion until you reach The Tree That Grew I(aka slimetree). Here, fight slimes until level 15. Go back to perion and buy all of your new armor except shoes/gloves. Go back to the slime tree and train there until level 18.

You may also use the dex=2x build. That works fine, but i find it to give to much dex, the monsters you fight at the beginning have little or no avoidability.

For levesl 29 and 30, add whatever you want, this is what i did.

Instead of maxing Powerstrike first you can do Slashblast, or 10 of each then 10 of each. Its all about preference. Now, you probably notcied how i didnt save 10+ SP before raising the skill to 20 from 10. This is becase i find it ridiculous to wait another level for just 3 or 2 or 1 more sp. I would only wait until you have 10+ points if you were actually SUPER poor.

2nd Job Advancement:::::X05
==============================
So you've decided to become a page. To get the job advancement, you must have used all your SP up to level 30, including the ones you recieve at level 30. Now, head over to Dances with Balrog. He'll give you a letter, then head one map left of Perion. Go into the warp at the top of the map, and keep proceding through those maps until you reach the Warrior Job Advancment Guy(Forgot it actually says). Talk to him, and go into the map with fire boars and Lupin.
NOTE: THE FIRE BOARS AND LUPIN ARE WEAKENED. THEY HAVE LESS HP AND LESS AVOIDABILITY.
After collecting 30 dark marbles, talk to the instructor. He will give you the proof of a hero and then go back to Dances with Balrog. Give him the item, and choose your class(I would assume page).

The Pro's and Con's of the Page.

Pros:
Most uncommon warrior class(I think this is more pro)
BW's are very cheap
BW scrolls are very cheap
Receive elemental attacks in 3rd job

Cons:
Most uncommon warrior class(I think this is more pro)
2H swords are expensive
2H sword scrolls are very expensive
Get threaten instead of Rage

I admit that Fighters are better than Pages in the 2nd job damage-wise. 3rd job the whole story changes, and one is not better than another in my opinion, just your style of playing.

After this, you can figure out what to do. Depends when your planning to cap dex and if you have dex equips.

For those who need to know how much accuracy you need to hit a monster. Get the monsters avoidability from hidden-street.net. Let's hope they have the right numbers icon_wink.gif

Here it is:
(55+2*difference between mob and your level)*Mob avoid/15

Here's an example. Lets say your level 43 and fighting copper drakes. They are level 45 and have 18 avoid.

(55+2*2)*18/15
(55+4)*18/15
59*18/15
1062/15
Accuracy to hit copper drake=71 acc

seeing at lvl 10 i had
40 str and 21 dex....
other stats are 4int and 5 luk...

maybe he did a miscount or my maplestory is just going weird..?

At level 10 the most STR you can have if you have 20 DEX is 42 (only if you roll 4/4)

Stat Points at level 10:

5*(10-1)+25=70

70-4-4-20=42

So, 42 STR
