What types of tutorials do I browse in for this MMORPG idea.

I want to make a MMORPG - Collectible Card Game with TBS type battles. Kinda like Ogre battle, auto battles but the tarot cards can manipulate the battles. I want to do something similar like that but there will be more cards and you can collect them. I have sprites already, I need some good tutorials for how to make a card game, how to make a database in VB and so forth. Please give me a list of what to review and study. Thanks for the help.

hmm well i think you might need to learsome c++ programming for that sort of thing.....and you might have to learn some networking since you want it to be an mmorpg

I would like it directly to have it be in VB. Networking, would I have to learn vb.net or whatever it is called? Give me some more detailed hints because that would greatly help with what I am trying to do.
