Looking for a game with battles like on the movie 300.
Anyone know anything like that? Strategic PVP battles with a few hundred people per side? Doesn't have to be MMO, could be indivual battle sessions. But want something with formations, not just running around mindlessly.

I think it'd be impossible to make strategy work online. Anyway, I've never played these games so I don't know how many people are involved in battle, but these games should have warlike pvp i think:

I heard Space Cowboy Online (now re-named Flysis) is something like that. About 50-100 spaceships fighting at once, and you get into individual party-like formations of about 5. There's only 2 sides, so it's not like you join a guild and wait forever for a battle, they have like every day... or so I've heard. Haven't actually played the game. Hope this helps.

Ya...um...if you don't mind it then try shadowbane (GET OUT OF TRAINING ISLAND) grind is really really small and once you get out of training island its literally pure PVP.
RYL is fun but good luck finding a populated RYL pserver... or just wait for FEZ since its amazing :P
