There's another Dragonball (live) on production by Stephen Chow I suppose.
I think both, either hit or miss.

Well, I can understand GitS wanting to get turned into a live action movie. And I'm pretty glad that DreamWorks were the one to obtain the rights. (If y'all remember, they were the ones that brought GitS2:I to the US in pristine Subtitled condition) The fact that Spieldberg will be working on it gives me some hope that it could turn out pretty good, especially since they seeking to make it mostly cg with live action actors, ala "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow."

The other two, I'm not so sure of.

If they turn GitS into a mindless action flick, or insert some religious bullshit into it somehow, I'll drown someone. Not sure who yet, but I'll figure it out.
