I joined GO a few days ago. Level 26 now, but I have some questions.

Is this game hacker infested? I had people admit to me that they were hacking when they could kill everything on the screen. I was hoping that the playing grounds were fair and that hackers got banned.

Actually, I see that the latest update has a thing that bans you for 1 hour if suspicious of hacking. I typed in the wrong password and It said I was banned for an hour, lol. Only programs I had running were AVG, Spybot search and destroy, MSN Messenger, and of course, Ghost Online. I guess it's a little buggy...


My main question is about partying. Say I solo and get 100 exp per kill. When I party with my older brother, we get 100 exp +2 per kill + another 2 exp for everyone the other person kills. So basically 104 exp. That's not much of an increase at all. Are you and your party supposed to attack the same monster (killing it twice as fast with reduced exp) or attack different monsters killing twice as many at full exp?

Is the fastest way to train having a full party? I really need tips on training fast since I've soloed 95% of the time and I think partying is faster.

Yes, the game is hacker infested, the Malaysian version at least since they basically have no active GM. Not sure if the anti-hack measure they set up recently helped at all. I mean, an 1 hour ban, what the hell? hackers should be perma-banned, no question.

I also noticed that you get a 2% (assumed it's 2%) exp bonus per party member, I think the best way to train is a full party with everyone attacking their own monsters, not sure if the exp bonus works if party mates are in a different map; if not, then maybe "zerging" higher level monsters would be effective (several party mates attacking the same monsters).

Level 26, that's as far as I went on the MY version, so I can't help much more.
Hoping the upcoming global version will be managed better and won't be as much of a hack fest.

Full party would probably be the best way to go but its usually hard to find enough people that are around the same lvl. You do not have to be on the exact same map to get the bonus but you can only be a few maps apart, I think maybe 3 at the most. Ive leveled with just my bf and I since 40 or so and we just got 60 the other day so its not so bad to go it alone.

There are a lot of hackers in the game but if you go to one of the empty chan. you dont have to deal with them. Ive got the hack program detected message before but I think its because I tried to log back in too fast after I got dced and you arent really banned for a hour cause I tried again 1 min later and got right in.
