make a european PSN download the beta....update it...boom..wait till the 21st

This is a beta test before the game is actually released.

Depends on the country.

If you are from Japan, you need to sign up for a Konami ID to get the Beta code.

If you are from Europe, you can immediately download the game from the store without any necessary codes.

If you are from US/Canada, you require to either pre-order the game or get the Metal Saga Vol.2 DVD to get the code. However, they introduced a site for US/Canada in which you can complete a form, and get the beta code. The site is here: http://www.onlineregister.com/konami/mgops/

I played this at New York Comic Con this past Sunday. It was pretty sweet.

Plays from an over-the-should Gears of War perspective. You pick out your weapons and stuff before the round starts (like in Rainbow Six Vegas), and then go and kill/complete objectives.

Makes me wish I had a ps3...

It was pretty sweet - there was a big kiosk that said "Metal Gear Online", with 16 PS3s or so...

This makes me want to get a ps3 as well.

The old MGS online for ps2 closed, so was sad, really good console online play.
