Default So how about, I just watched Elfen Lied ((Finished))

Yeah, I just finally got around to finishing Elfen Lied, after watching the entire first season, and two of the new episodes released of Code Geass...

Let me just say, Elfen Lied, was the best anime I have ever watched. It even beat out Code Geass and Death Note, two of my favorites. Elfen Lied was absolutely breath-taking at some moments. Some moments even almost got me to tear up. This was the best anime I have ever seen...and I really hope they make a second season, if not though, that ending still is truly magnificent.

Seriously, there are so many hidden little symbolisms in Elfen Lied, that most people probably look over, that made the whole anime just PHENOMENAL!

Wow, I am just, stunned by that ending. Showing the hands of time move, the fact that Kohta and Lucy can now move on, and both stop looking for answers in the past and regretting decisions made...both of them, can now move and forgive each other, as well as themselves.

This anime, needs to be put into a time capsule and sent into the future for future generations to see such a stunning piece of work, and possibly one of the best animes I have ever seen.

Yes, it is a stunning piece of work.
You should take a look at the manga too.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Oh and, I probably will check out the manga, supposedly it goes deeper than the anime does, the anime only covers HALF of the manga, which means, sequel possibly.

Shame it's so short. However, it definitely has one of my favorite ending scenes ever. I'll probably watch it again (boxed set.. yay!) later on, I have a bad habit of never watching most of my dvds more than once. (End of Eva, Outlaw Star, Blood: Last Vamp, etc.). Oh, the intro theme is certainly in my top 3 intros, along with Cruel Angel's Thesis and Colors of the Heart.

I thought it was garbage. The character growth, and all the stupid pointless fighting really turned me off.... and I'm a action junkie.

I too, loved the anime. The undertone was rather grim and depressing, but thats what made it so awesome. Loved the animation as well, definitely one of the most beautiful animes made.

Go back to your Naruto and Bleach then.

Agreed I have allways been a big fan of Tenchi Muyo and Death Note and old school Dragon Ball / DBZ but when I finished watching all the elfen lied I could only think of one think. THIS KICKS ICHI THE KILLERS *** *live action movie not anime*
