So i used some C4D for the purpose of giving C.C.(render) a geass effect. Only people who watch the anime will understand.

not a serious fan of the c4d on top of the render, and theres something thats lacking in terms of color but i cant really pin point it.

i mean just in general it isnt visually appealing to me :-l

You can easily replicate those effects without the use of C4D's. Use lens flare and play around with the coloring and the blending options (color dodge, for example).

I think it'd look a lot better if you took out the soft greenish color at the top and made it transparent,...

Cool text. I'm going to have to steal that idea. =D
Lol oh and saturate that render a bit. Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Hue/Sat. You want to move the saturation bar +. Unless you want it to look dry and extremely flat.
