Well i dont realy no wear to put this so......i was thinking how i can make my own game thats not hard to make ......like a 2d shooting game.......is there any software that can me do this ,that would be free?

Stop it, stop it, stop it. You can't just pull a game out of your ass, even Soldat was hard to make. Any free software won't be worth it because #1 it's not going to be free and #2 nobody will play it, and you will most likely give up in the beginning/middle stages of production.

if you are serious about this, than you shouldnt just come out of the blue and decide to make a game, if anything you should be on a team already in the advanced stages of having their own game come out, because odds are if you were on that team than you would know what to do and where to go, and you wouldnt be asking here

#1 : making games is easy, that is if you like to read and figure out things.

#2 : there are free software, Don't ask me for links or downloads cuz I don't do it anymore.

#3 : don't do it alone, it's more fun with friends and others. Like I had a friend that was in charge of events, and story lines. While I was in charge of making maps, items, characters.

woot woot. For simple games, try RPG Maker 2000. As for FPS, there are a few old Doom 2 editors out there, but thats a little more complicated in some areas then 2D RPGs.

Go to the development forums and theres a sticky with links to stuff like one im using called Learn C++ in 21 days and its actually pretty good im also working on my own game so FYI making a game is the hardest thing you will ever do if you just jump straight into it. Try reading some guides and tutorials come up with a good story and get you some decent software after you do that I guarantee making a game will be much easier but still it get difficult running solo so he is right about doing it with friends not only will it be easier but it will be more fun.

mm....ok wtf all i did is ask a qusetion and all you werdios start saying shit.I got 30 of my friends helping me. We wear going to pay for a software but one of my friends pc broke and he was going to pay for the software. The rest of us dont wont to buy it. So wear looking for one thats free. And if your going to talk shit dont even come hear you dumass.
