I tried it but after awhile gets too repetitive and I need to the same outpost all the time... can we get to a different outpost? and about the weapons, damn I cannot find anything good besides a combat knife
And I'm already lvl9 or something. Any hints?

gotta tell you radu, it's still in beta and they are going to add a bit more. the game was only just recently released so if it's not your thing right now just give it a month or two and check it out again -.o the guy making it seems quite dedicated and i personally have quite high expectations.

yeah finding new and good items is hard... and trading doesn't go to swift because its players only,.
Well I played the first games he made (not online no multiplayer) of deadfrontier on newgrounds and if he can get that experience in his online game it will be kickass! |

I also have some good expectations about it and I know it's beta. But to have to walk all the way back to the outpost is a real pain and not finding any weapon besides knifes and pokers is a bit discouraging. I continue to play it now and then and see how it will develop. Do any of you know if it's possible to logout in the middle of a map and stay safe or it's really necessary to return to the outpost for safe grounds?

you can log out outside of the outpost, but i think its something like when your in the oupost and offline you lose 1% hunger per hour and if your outside youll lose 2%...but this is speculation since i cant quite remember, but you wont be attacked or anything if you log out outside of the outpost. ive done it quite a few times.

Well the guy who made the game, dug into his own pockets. Theres no reason to critise him for having an uber item cash shop. Also in a few months it will become a zombie mmo. I personally am sick of fantasy mmo's.
Now that they added the gold rush map to TF2 i've started playing that again. |

I dont like how the controls work, thats what really turned me off. sure it has wsad movement (or something simular) but that applys to which ever direction your character is pointing..... which is a learning curve I dont want to learn, as it will mess me up with other games.

Wow... I know these posts are pretty old, but these replies couldn't be more wrong.
I have been a member of Dead Frontier since a week before the beta was released, and am a high level now. Some things to point out are: -Lag is now mostly fixed -There are no NPC shops, to get ANYTHING, you either have to find it or buy it from some other player -If you think the game is repetetive, you lack what you need to play the game; skill and patience. I doubt any of you have even looted in death row, or any where in red zombie territory. Once you have to deal with red longarms, its a completly differnt game -someone said older players get 100 credits per month... I don't know how the hell they got that idea. Moderators get like, 25 per week, but other than that you can only get credits by buying them with real money or if you sign up for gold membership (which anyone can do) it costs $8 a month but you get 200 credits per month and exp/loot rates are improved. Prices are also reduced. -You now visit "marketplace" to buy items/weapons I'm not going to point out everything, but this is not a repetetive game, and I have yet to see ONE correct reply regarding dead frontier. |
