Even if it is a copy of TF 2 it means that it will be good. A few copies of same game, I can support. But if they come up with like 5000 cartooney shoter titles, then we have a problem.

And does anyone know the max players per game? 64 would be awesome.

i hope 64 too but most likely it will only be 16 or 32 because the FPS would drop when it gets chaos-y

but i think it will come out to be a good game because i really dont know any good MMOTPS and i think EA/DICE was trying to get from a new approachand try something new
and teh GFX could have been a coincidence or it could have been on purpose because they figured out TF2 was a great success so yeah
i still htink this will be a great game

First of all, Battlefield Heroes was actually in development before Team Fortress 2 was shown to the public. So the "style" of the game was already set BEFORE TF2 came out. In fact, the DiCE people were going to change BFH back to a semi-realisitc look but decided that the two games are TOTALLY different, so it wouldn't matter much in the end.

Secondly, BFH is only going to release with two maps. I don't care what the excuse is for them to release with only two maps, the game will fail horribly with two maps at release. Especially considering there probably won't be any mods of 3rd party support/maps like with BF2 and 2142. Unless they dole out new maps every month or something, eh, whatever.

Apparently (According to their lead guy), it can be played on old Dells that are good for nothing. I'm a little skeptical, being seeing as how I have an old Dell that's good for nothing, I'm hoping for the best.

Actually, thats the plan. They are going to poll the players, and add new stuff every month or so.

Even though I've been a big fan of the Battlefield series I don't think I'm going to even bother with Heroes, even if it is free...

I'm slightly excited about it. The I like BF2 and I played Bad Company, so I'm ready to try out this one. Can't wait for the sign up!
