Personally I find 16 is the perfect number for all the game modes beside free mode. That mode should go up to 30 but its only funny with friends.

I really enjoy the GTA4 Multiplayer when you play it friends, but not as fun when your team is quite :/

The reason SA:MP can have so many more people than GTA4 is that GTA4 already squeezes all it can from the 360, SA:MP was PC based and in the couple years between SA release and the online mod there was quite a big advancement in pc's (also the ps2 wasn't a new console to start with)

Comparing the 2 is totaly unfair.

Also Jin I didn't misread your post at all. You were stating that because SA:MP has that many people GTA4 should aswell otherwise it would be bad. If this isn't what you meant it's a problem with you trying to express yourself, not mine and others interpreting skills.

It is very fun, although my wireless internet keeps crapping out... either i cannot even get into the game or when i do every leaves the game at the same time right away then i sign out of my Playstation network account.

A pity... but i'll resolve the problem soon.

i just play random match and mess around , but Mic is really needed , since free mode u can do RPG would be awesome if u could make money...to buy a car , house etc etc , but hey no games are perfect. lol

I'm going to simplify what I said:

All I did was say how that sounds too small, then say how even in SA:MP it may have been too small. Thats all. Jeesh you guys need to calm down. Last time I checked I can say what I think. For me PERSONALLY that small of players fail, deal with it, I'm not some clone. I speak for ME. Meaning I can like what you don't, or don't like what you do. Thats life. If you don't like it go fund for the clone research and when it's done spend a few billion dollars for clones who think just like you, and play with them on games, in your own forum. If you can't accept we are not all the same *points* theres the Log Off button.

You folks do realize the map in San Andreas is A LOT bigger than the one in GTA4, thus needs the 100's of people per server to help fill it up. A lot more empty space (desert/countryside) and 3 cities. Not to say GTA4 is small by any means though... and 16 is pretty bad. I'd say 32 would be more reasonable.

in SA:MP there are no npc or AI cops. but in gta 4 theres NPCs (pedestrians and people diving cars) and there even cops if there enabled. and you can (but its hard to do) get a 5 or even 6 start wanted level.

No. Firstly, you decided GTA4 "fails" because 16 is not enough people since even 100-200 in SA:MP is not enough. Kid, nobody cares about SA:MP; they're talking about GTA4 online. Secondly, those who have actually played the game have said 16 is good enough for the modes, except freeplay, in GTA4 online. Thirdly, it's obvious you haven't played GTA4 multiplayer and I'm confident to say you haven't played the singleplayer either. Try to experience the game fully before making biased opinions and comparisons.
