im not sure but i think lights make the air heat up and it makes it brighter and stuff but dont touch the center of the light because youll get burnt

Lights and electrical appliances, like the name say, use electricity. Apart from the heat/energy that emanates from them (alongside with electrical and magnetic fields in some cases) the main reason is concerned with electricity. To make electrical power it's necessary to burn solid fuels (petroleum) except in the cases of atomic power plants and renewable energies (wind, sun, etc) because the machines that convert kinetic and potential energy need those fuels to operate (even in dams). When you burn the fuel CO2, CO and NOx are freed into the atmosphere which will cause the greenhouse effect. All I've said are just pointers to your search since this is a way more complex process than what I've resumed in a few lines

what you explain what kinetic energy has to do with this?

from what i understand, something has to move for it to have kinetic energy, light bulbs dont move?
tell me if im wrong, im more of a biology guy, not physical science/chem.

hey, who has a masters degree in science here? i do
light bulbs do move actually, theyre organisms that feed off of the carbon dioxide we breath out, and in return give off light as a waste product. thats why you dont see any lightbulbs in abandoned places, because theres nothing breathing out carbon dioxide.
