Was there ever a 2nd season to this anime?
I really enjoyed it when it aired on Adult Swim.

nope never was...

though I remember reading newtype magazine back like many years ago with the article on the anime and enjoyed it a little but at sometimes it was a little slow.

I'm pretty sure there was nothing more. It didn't strike me as a series that's meant to continue. Some series are just better off as short and sweet with good animation and production values.

Man... This reminds me of this anime called Candidate of Goddess that aired on Adult Swim but then they disbanded the project of making the anime...
It was gonna be a masterpeice of epic proportions and they just canceled it... Sucks >.>...

You'll have to look around for torrents or buy the DVDs. I didn't like it when I saw it on AS, the main chick got on my nerves.
