yep its an action mmorpg......but for some reason a lot of wow fanatics are bashing the game...might be fear of competition.....and considering the last post the single player thing is only up to lvl 20 once you achieve lvl 20 its all mmo from then on and the game has fatalities first person rangers quests are actually interesting unlike wow's find a monster kill 10 of them bring back there guts and get gold.....they had one quest where i had to stalk a guy and listen in on his convo....another quest i had to climb the top of a volcano where a bunch of bandits were and were about to do a ritual using some virgins blood and i had to switch it with the blood of a whore....if that doesnt sound sexy then you guys are lame! lol

The combat system is unique, as I have not played any other MMO that had a style similar. However, the fighting is a chore; push 2 for skill, push 1, 3, and 5 for said skill to execute, which means a lot of twisting of your wrist if you are not used to the system.

Regarding the textures = bad: what kind of system are you running? I ran the game on max and it was beautiful even for a very incomplete beta client.

I just got into this beta test and love the game so far. Not exactly sure what I'm doing as I haven't had much time to play because of exams and crap all this week. The graphics are amazing, but I kind of expected a little more (I can run them on max). I love the combat system. Yeah it's work, but that's what I like about it, not the boring old point-and-click. I play an Assassin, and they do indeed pwn face haha.

Don't get me wrong. The graphics are amazing, but I thought they would be over the top that's all. I didn't expect to be able to run it completely maxed out with very smooth gameplay with just these specs, but I get great fps and playability. There are some cool fatality moves when your combos one shot people. There is this one where my assassin slices of the head of the enemy and one I just discovered today when he takes the dagger and drives it into their neck. Cool stuff.

oh my friend dont worry the gfx will be better....dx10 wasn't enabled yet for the beta...although you can pick it it doesnt change anything so once the retail version is out dx10 will be available and enhance the gfx all the way

and yes assasins=win
