1) The South: after an extended period, most of it is occupied in a revotution by the black underclass. The white, inbred majority are forced to go into the mountains and swamps and live in hiding. 4) Detroit is seized by gangs, and New York is seized by the Mafia. Mafia? What mafia?

5) Florida is occupied by the Cuban exiles, who then use its weaponry to invade Cuba and integrate it into the new oligarchy.

6) Nevada erupts into an incredibly bloody war between Texas and California over all the nukes.

7) Oregon is annexed by the Triads running Vancouver.

8) Maine and Vermont elect to join Canada.
