I like the dashing option. Maple Story gets slow at times for me without Haste or speed equips.

I believe Dragongem was created before Maple Story.
Just because a game is 2D and Sidescroll, you all assume it's a Maple rip-off. -__-;

Moron, it's a game of its genre.
Do you know what a clone is? It is when something looks EXACTLY like the other, and when I say exactly I mean every feature and every characteristics.

Closed beta just ended monday so we can't currently play now anyway =p They are wiping the data and doing a few bug fixes I reckon, then the open beta will start. Closed beta lasted 1 week, I played the entire time and I think the game is really good. It's nice having PvP when you get sick of killing monsters... and you get decent rewards from PvP too, XP and victory points which can be used to buy special items. Also I really like the crafting system. The best items are crafted, not store bought. You can gather plants, ore, and various stuff from special maps... then you can make potions, weapons, special stones for enchanting your armor/weapons... it's quite fun, I think.

i believe i did a similar rant when people said dragon gem was like maple
