How is PVP in this game? Like how do you do it or do you go to some like place and just fight or what? Also is there like duengen(spell check?) or instace like they have in WoW? Thanks for the help guys.

PvP is in an arena located in Saint Morning.
PK is on a separate server.

In PvP, you must have your first job and you're not allowed to duel anyone 29 lvls higher or lower than you.

There ARE dungeons, but it's not like a dungeon with chambers and such.
Unless, you do the dungeon quests.
People mostly go into the dungeons to grind on the mobs.

Back when I played, maybe 2 years ago, the PvP was ok, but not great. There was an arena, and titles you could earn. Also, there were weekly guild battles, and a PvP server.

I remember the best guild getting awesome capes... one guild always dominated back then in Mia, and it was called Redrum.

I was in a guild called Euphora, right when it started out. WingYen recruited me in a desperate attempt to get a guild going.

We never won a guild battle, so I'm not sure how the guild's going right now, but I hear it's pretty good.

Lol. Yeah.
I played FlyFF for about 4-5 years.
I quit sometime last year.

I'm pretty sure the PvP hasn't changed.
And GvG gives capes. :/

naw pvp has changed now you can duel anytime anyplace

u can battle ppl anywhere now..
it's not just in SM..

Thanks for the help guys but can anyone also tell me is this game really based on the cash shop? Like to become the best do you need to get stuff from the cash shop? Thanks again guys.

No, not exactly.
Back when I played, some of the CS items helped incredibly to level easier in the higher levels.
Most people get CS items for extras.
But, when you get high enough, CS items will almost seem necessary just to level. :/

level? no, however it does give you an advantage when upgrading ur gear, cs cash items are mostly for people who are trying to perfect their characters,
look i've been with teh game since CB and i have even spent a single cent in the cash shop and i'm doing just fine

There are scrolls in CS that help with the exp rates. At higher levels, it seems almost impossible to level without them. And even ressurection scrolls. Losing 3% is a lot compared to the amount of exp you do get and amount of time it takes to get even 3%.
