Zack Seeking: I'm seeking a project that I do not have to be paid for, compensation would be nice, but I'm mostly just looking for a project that will be completed. Skills: Working on my third year of programming in c++. I'm Asian so I'm good at math. (Well, that really has nothing to do with it, but I am good with math) Programs/formats: I use MSVC++ Contact: Email/MSN : kerzack@hotmail.com AIM : sadlsvel Yahoo : rawrzomgmonster Additional: An important thing for me is that there is something already to show for the project. I'd be most willing to join a team that has already done some work or has artists already. Finding them is a complete pain. Concepts, design docs, etc. are a plus when describing your project. |

Snakes Big Toe

Well, usually, for most graphically intensive RPGs, (I.E. those that are 3D), you want to squeeze as much power out of the CPU and Graphics card that you can. As I understand it, Visual Basic has a lot of overhead and just runs slower in general than other languages, like C.

ah ok, in the last couple months i've virtualy forgotten that 2D games excist :P
I've been spending to much time in blender and on CG forums :P I still think that there's better ways to go about it even with 2d games though...
