C++ Programmer Looking For Project

I'm seeking a project that I do not have to be paid for, compensation would be nice, but I'm mostly just looking for a project that will be completed.

Skills:
Working on my third year of programming in c++.
I'm Asian so I'm good at math. (Well, that really has nothing to do with it, but I am good with math)

Well, usually, for most graphically intensive RPGs, (I.E. those that are 3D), you want to squeeze as much power out of the CPU and Graphics card that you can. As I understand it, Visual Basic has a lot of overhead and just runs slower in general than other languages, like C.

VB can make some good games. I agree once you go into the high level 3D you can't really get away with VB anymore but for 2D and some iso games it works great.

ah ok, in the last couple months i've virtualy forgotten that 2D games excist :P

I've been spending to much time in blender and on CG forums :P

I still think that there's better ways to go about it even with 2d games though...
