Yeah I think thats what its called, i saw it used in an AMV or something, is there anyone here that knows more about it? How many episodes are there? Is it english? Looks awesome but is it really?

There are 6 episodes; however, the English dub turned it into 2 movies.

The original Japanese is an excellent watch, all be it short and ending somewhat in disappointment.

I have the first movie, and let me say its a pain in the ass to follow. I don't know why. I watched it twice and still don't really get it.

Karas is fucken sweet, you understand more of the storyline if you watch the 2nd movie. There's only 2 parts to the OAV. I'm probably going to look for the 2nd part DVD at Anime North tomorrow.

Actually, there are six parts to the OAV (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/ency...me.php?id=5002) the stupid dubbers just thought it would be better to merge them into two (which I can understand why, but it breaks the nature of the each episodes cliff-hangers.)

Tid-bits: Originally, the series aired as a Pay-Per-View special in Japan. In all actuality, it was seperated into two seasons, 3 and 3. One aired each month, then after the 3rd one, it waited till the season of the following year to air the final three episodes, continuing with the 1 episode a month pattern.

It makes me wish some companies would seek out the idea of anime PPV in the US.

I don't think it was the fact i couldn't understand it...

I think it was more like it was extremely hard to follow the plot. Kind of reminded me of Evangelion. I will be looking for the 2nd movie of Karas as I don't like having uncompleted anime in my library
