I've heard a couple people say AoC has already screwed itself, but the game only just came out. Is there something bad about the game that makes it not worth playing?
And since it's from FC, do you think they might do what they did with AO and give free players a smaller game to play on but a huge one for the paying players? |

It's a great game, but it's not my cup of tea. It's true they cut a lot of shit from the game, but imagine how rocky the release would be if they kept all the stuff in as opposed to what it is now.

The early access is a bit of a scam , not all keys are going to be active at the at the same time. Also you use to be able to buy the pre - order package then cancel when the game sucked , most stores arent allowing at , Best Buy here has put a freeze on pre order packages without a deposit of 30.00 non refundable.
Fileplanet had codes , Tenton hammer , and another site , gave away 50k accounts each , though those keys wont be activity til 3 left on the trial. ------------ Conan has nothing new , even the point to click battle system is better done in DDO and even The Lacon does it better. They capped the game for pre orders because the xp curve has been adjusted , there is almost no end game content to play through. I heard last night , that they running test server with the new code, its having mixed results. One of the problems is , the development team has moved and the Live Team is working on the broken fileplanet code. Also since they marketed towards children , the level of WoW type fan bois is grewing hugely , emotional outburst are common , and they are treating people pretty bad on the boards. AO the support is nice and tries to work with you , at Conan , everyone seems pissed 24/7. They got stormtroopers for GM , who dont even bother dealing the kid issue. There are blogs and websites that list the problems and the problem with the next big patch. But apparently Funcom is going after gamers who "break the NDA". |

That right there is complete bullshit and made me laugh (it really did). Your hate for this game is unending, and you fail at it. Let's all try to dissuade people from their personal tastes and lets just listen to Sabertooth!

The EA is running very well at this moment, only a few people have problem with the patcher. Game performance increased by alot from beta to gold and there are even lvl 40s already. So far people are really enjoying it.
Edit: Sabertooth77 i think everyone on this forum know you hate the game. |

The forums , have a massive amount of 12 to 16 years , and Funcom isnt dealing with them very well. On top of that no retailer is enforcing the M rating , they , along with Funcom , and Fileplanet have no policy to prevent miniors from buying the game. Even online stores , are only asking Year/Month/Day for protection. The enitre blogs deal with subjects that teeny boppers love nipples , sex buffs , nudity , excessive blood/gore. If Funcom was marketing to adults , then why did they pick retailers who have no policy for M games , and why dont they join the nanny block , or any of the other block. Further more you can see the box art is designed to target teen males , much like EQ1 was art was. |
