i know it's got ninjas and all, but i just can't understand the craze.

everyday, i see atleast one naruto thing.

on Roblox i see places dedicated to naruto, on sheezy art and deviant art i see gay pics of naruto and sauskae or how ever is name is spelled, on forums i hear people talk about it, well, actually read, i think it's just a little over hyped.

so why do people care do damn much about seeing ninjas kill each other?

why is the emo character(s) always the most popular character(s) in games and animes?

do you think it's over hyped?

Very much, I've only seen about 20 episodes and got bored not all that great. I'm not saying its bad either, just not as good as people say.

Very badly over-hyped anime that turns out to be complete shit because it's 98% fillers, 1.5% movie, .5% story. I'm inclined to believe any anime that extends over 26 episodes just flat-out sucks.

Besides they twist the image of ninjas so much you don't even know what a ninja is anymore.

Naruto has nothing to do with Ninja's. Just people with superpowers naming themselves Ninja's. The story was interesting at first till they decided to waste around 80 episodes looking for some damn emo who decided to leave with the whole excuse of ''BONDS''. I mean, come on. That's stupid.

So, yes it is extremely overhyped.

Some of us haven't the same opinion. I don't think i've ever called an anime char ''smexy'' before. Emo characters annoy me. I want something new not something recycled. Naruto, Bleach etc had alot of potential but it seems things like bonds, ninjas and an overpowered guy with a big sword attract alot of children.

yep naruto is one of the most overhyped animes for reasons unkown to me....im assuming a lot of the younger audience are into the whole "ninja" theme...im not gonna lie i saw a few episodes i liked them but then the fillers killed me

although 99.9% of your post is true i have to go against the 26 episode thing....full metal alchemist is about 52 episodes and that anime is god!

bleach is a good anime....at least unlike naruto its fillers are entertaining

There aren't many good ninja animes to be truthful. And action comedy ninja action with twists and a pretty good story and very hard to come by. Being a anime and dubbed also just puts Naruto up to the win level for new anime lovers.
