Default Wii Fit

Has anyone else gotten a copy of the game yet? I must say, I am fairly impressed. The activities in a couple sections are quite entertaining, and are very helpful. I have good balance and almost got a perfect on the first test, but when put against flying soccer balls that you must headbutt into a goal, I got a lot worse.

You can set a weight loss goal with a time period, and then have a personal trainer demonstrate actual muscle-training exercises that would actually work up a sweat. From push-ups to jack-knifes to a whole lot more, there's plenty to do in order to work your body. There's a ton of activities, and more games on the way including We Ski which has already released, I have a copy of that as well.

I have yet to try yoga, but the aerobics excersises were fun. You can run for a couple different lengths, but it doesn't seem very accurate. Judging by the movement of the wiimote, since running is not done on the board, you could go a lot faster or slower. When in baggy pockets, you'll fly by, while when you hold it you may go a lot slower depending upon the speed you pump your arms.

All of the activities are not meant to be done 100% full speed. For running, you work your way up to a certain speed, then maintain it. When I did a speed run and killed my trainer, and a dog, finishing with a great time, I only received 1/4 stars because I didn't train properly.

Overall, it's a fun game. If you want to loose some weight, you can definitely do it with a diet and this game, even though it won't be a lot. (The game recommends 3 lbs a week otherwise you'll get some type of weight rebound)

But if you want to loose 50 lbs, it'll probably take awhile.

I'm getting it as soon as I've got the extra $80. Fully intend on doing both aerobic and yoga activities.

I'll probably be getting this, though I'm going to the london expo on sunday, so I'll probably have no money for a while.

Darn T_T I want a wii, seems like a shitload of fun.

I'm stuck working out the old fashioned way, *** training and pushups one day until my arms are sore, curls and cardio the next day.

I wouldn't do an Yoga without personal professional training; It can mess up your joints for ever. (At least just take caution, what you feel might not always be the best indicator, to stay safe.)

I'm not sure if I want to put $80 into something that I can do outside, for free.
