Background

The parting love will not vanish but stay in the deepest spot of memory, waiting for the moment to be dug out again. Once upon a time, an archangel called Lucifer spread his blessings selflessly in the world. And the people who worshipped him built a splendid palace to sing of his kind deeds. However, all of those were changed because Lucifer’s beloved fell in love with an angel from heaven. Lucifer was so jealous that he transmuted the girl and the angel into dew and a star to prevent them from meeting. He even called down catastrophe to the world to feed his rage. Lucifer knew he would inevitably be punished by God, so he was determined to call in his subordinates who were willing to rebel with him. Before the rebellion, Lucifer sealed his palace underground to bury the sad memory.

Soon a cruel Heaven War broke out. The continent of Eden was involved too: To the north of Eden was closed off by a permanent chill, a huge cliff which ranged hundreds of miles appeared to the east, and the continent that connected the western part became a vast ocean and the way to the south was blocked by forests. Lots of strange changes forced people to move to the central part of Eden. And gradually the four factions were formed. At last, the rebellious angels were thrown into a bottomless pool with their wings broken…

After the war ended, the Angel Lyceum, representing the virtue of heaven and the Evil Lyceum representing evil, both worked hard to recruit new members. Recently, the 「Eden Purification Plan」 created by the leader of the Angel Lyceum, Michael, has weakened the power of the Evil Lyceum in the world successfully, and made the power of the Angel Lyceum grow quickly. Nevertheless, what’s more unexpected was that many of the angels who were under orders to perform the Eden Purification Plan began to talk about love, the topic teachers always especially shunned before.

At the same time, a story about the 「Sunlight Tear」 spread around the world quickly. It’s said it was a gem made from the dew that dropped from heaven when seeing the light of the star. Rumor said this dew was the one the girl was transmuted into. Rumor also said if the both side of lovers gained the Sunlight Tear, they could step into the wedding hall as they wished and be blessed forever. So, many lovestruck angels went underground regardless of their own safety to look for the Sunlight Tear, which caused many angels to be lost…

More and more angels got lost. Michael sent people to investigate this case at once after hearing of it. Unexpectedly, the investigators brought a piece of unbelievable news: the location of the gem was the underground palace where Lucifer buried the past memories. Nevertheless, many angels still formed an advanced troop voluntarily to rescue the lost angels and investigate the one who was behind the scenes pulling the strings.
