NOTE THIS IS A F2P GAME!!

History behind the project: For a long time I wanted to make a demon VS. Human like mmo. But, I also wanted it to be based on the popular series so more people will have a look at it. My first thought the hit TV series Supernatural ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supernatural_(TV_series) ). But, then in order to balance out both factions major tweaks would have to be made to the world, so big it wouldn't be supernatural. But then when I had study hall I went on Manga Volume and decided to read my favorite manga; D~Gray Man (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D.Gray-man ).

Age: 15
TimeZone: Eastern (-5:00)
Years As A gamer: 9
Years As A Game Designer: 3
2D Mapping: Suberb
3D Mapping: Never Attmpted
Spriting Skills: Mediocre
3D Modeling skills: Mediocre
Known Languages: Bit of R.U.B.Y and intermediate level ActionScript 2.0
Connections Trough out the web: Large
Weakness: Perfectionist
Streangh: Perfectionist
Xfire Username: Kabuto202

How The Game Will Work

There will be two factions the Exorcists and the Millennium's Army. Each will have a new gameplay experience for the player.

The Exorcists

The starter classes will be as the following: Exorcists, Finder, Talisman Disciple. The Exorsist will be the basic combat character. You will start out with no innocence and you will be spending your first 10 levels in training. Once you get to your second classes you can choose what innocence you shall hold. Finders are the human supporters of the church. These characters are weak in combat but, can perform curses and buffs. Talisman Deciple are indirectly assisting the church, these guys are the rangers for this world weather they do it by the use of talisman magic or just pure skill.

The exorcists society works as a republic. Four players will be elected as the generals. They shall attempt to lead the rest of the exorcists to find the "Final Innocence" and vanquish Earl.

MORE TO BE ADDED AS SOON AS I SHALL BE ABLE TO GET A COUPLE OF HOURS OF SLEEP!!!

If you wanna join please give a description of yourself and your skills similar to the "Little bit bout me" section. Also have xfire installed.

Also the engine has yet to be decided here are the options: Eclipse Engine, Eclipse Evolution, Elysium Diamond, or Chaos Engine. Please tell me your thoughts

Hmmp, D. Gray Man. I like the Manga however I'm not sure if something like that would really be that catchy. Think about it, all Exorcist do is kill off Akuma nothing else to it. Kill Akuma and fight the Earl, they have no life apart from Training and the occassional meet and great with friends. And honest to goodness who would want to be a Finder, they are the *****es of the Exorcists.

If you're basing your game off a manga, and are going to run it for profit, then you're definitely going to run into copyright issues.

If you want to use the idea, you're going to have to contact the copyright holder and ask permission to use their intellectual property in a commercial project.

First of all, I am not running this for profit. Second of all finders may be the *****es in the manga but, in here think of them *** the priests in WoW.

Wha.....???

Anyways, it is still generally illegal to make a game based on something you have no copyrights or permissions to. You don't own the character names, or likeliness, so it would not matter if you care or not, it still makes you eligible for fueling a possible illegal act.

Although the chance of you getting contacted by them, is so slim based on your level of design.
