I have experince with html,php,mysql and bits and peices of java and c++. I want to get into making programs .exe ones such as like one for a store to keep invetory and have a cash register app made. Which language should i go learn to suite those needs. I know which languges can do it but i want ur opinions on the ones with the least amount of work and best.

VB will be the least amount of work for a graphical cash register program. However, I've seen alot of cash register/inventory systems use a console version of the program. I'm not sure if VB can do console, but it can't, then use C. It's simple, fast, and neat.
