decent/balanced pvp not horrid time sink

Basically I am looking for a 3D MMORPG (can be point click or WASD) that has decent pvp that doesn't make you work for terrible amounts of time just to get to where you can pvp.... If the game plays like a job basically please don't suggest it.

Also if its possible a game that does not require excessive gear farming just so you can be decent in pvp..... Please don't mention RYL 2 because its a completely gear based game just about.

Thanks to anyone who has suggestions.

Majority of free to play mmorpgs are grindy as hell and play like a job. That is the sad truth.

However...

Shadowbane might just fit the bill for ya. It is focused on PvP so you can max your character out very quickly. PvE is virtually non existent. Having said that, once you max your level you will need to farm for items and such to outfit your char better. Get in a guild asap and neither leveling or gearing up should be a problem.

possibly turf battles but eventauly itll take while to lvl lvl 200-300 but lvl 1-200 u can get in a week.u get to the pvp quik its pretty good pvp since u move and attack instead of stand atatck move stand attack move.

just so no one else spends there time... thanks for the suggestions guys I kinda made a new topic about group games because I've kinda realized pvp mmorpgs are a bit pointless unless theres some really good PvE to back it up... I mean... I don't wanna have a job I don't get paid for so I can finally have fun:P thanks all!
