Name: Isamu Takeshi [Isamu means Courageous and Takeshi means Fierce Warrior]
Soul name: Wolf in the Shadows
Affect soul name has: Kelrayi studies his targets, often from places they can't find him easily (Hence the Shadow part). He is fiercely loyal to those he considers friends (Wolf part) and won't hesitate to hurl himself into combat for their sake. He is fierce and absolutely unrelenting in his attacks (Wolf part again).

Appearance: Isamu's dark brown hair is shaggy and thick, reminiscent of a wolf's mane. His eyes, a dark green color, size every person up with a cold, calculating glance. White robes are trimmed in black and reach down to his ankles and wrists. He also has a tattoo of a wolf on his left shoulder.
Weapon: [What about a quarterstaff? Those would seem to fit a Monk's style very well. But if I can't get a quarterstaff.] Longsword.
Skills: [Since some of these are reliant on the weapon, I'm going forward with the assumption of using a quarterstaff. I'll change things around if needed.]
Shadow Stalking: Isamu slides into the shadows, quietly and effectively. Perfected as of the start of the fight.
Fist of Shadows: Isamu focuses his chi to his fists and strikes an opponent, utilizing his chi to weaken his opponent's strength. Decently performed as of the start of the fight.
Cloak of Shadows: Isamu spins his quarter staff all around him, spreading his chi along the length of the quarterstaff, until it envelops him in a ball of shadows, allowing him to 'disappear'. In reality, his chi forms a sort of barrier around him, rendering him temporarily invisible. Since it impairs his eyesight, he must rely on his sense of hearing and smell to navigate. Imperfect as of the start of the fight.
Shadow Strike: Essentially a more powerful, ranged version of Fist of Shadows, Isamu charges the chi in his palms and manipulates it until he can hurl it, in the shape of a small orb, at his opponents. Imperfect at the start of the fight.
Shadow Barrier: Using his quarterstaff, Isamu prepares much as he would for using the Cloak of Shadows skill, except now he uses it to project a physical image of a shadow, allowing him to block incoming attacks.
History: Isamu was born to a pair of simple farmers. When he was eight, wolves came, attacked, and killed his parents. Yet when they laid their eyes on Isamu, they protected him and cared for him.
When the monks found him in the woods when he was ten, Isamu was wild. They saw his potential and brought him back with them to the temple. Though they managed to quell his animalistic nature, they could not get Isamu to cut his hair.
Isamu began to train diligently in the Academy. Though he was accepted, he felt ostracized by some other monks. Isamu also preferred to sleep outside under the sky, and only slept indoors when the weather called for it.
By the time the temple was attacked, Isamu was a well-respected monk, proficient in martial arts, and was beginning to master his chi skills.
Personality: Isamu is quiet around many people, opening up only to a few people. He can become mildly aggressive to those whom Isamu feels threatens his friends. Wolfish and sly at times, Isamu presents a calm, thoughtful image when the time is serious. In his free time, Isamu loosens up, to those few he can, and jokes around.
