I have been searching for ages and I still can't find it. I ask everyone in the game but no one knows. Can someone please give me a few places where I can find the black dye?

ya you can, but it takes awhile, but in the process you get lots of other dye too. Go do the bandit raid quest and DONT complete it, just jump back into the outpost nearby and the jump outside and do it again.

It takes up alot or your time, but you do get quite a bit of dye. I myself have gotten 2 black dye from doing this and a bunch from the other colors (except White).

I myself have found this a very useful way to get dye early on (considering its the only way i know :P )
