Hi everyone

my name is lissa, im new here obviously lol, and Im from australia, a little bit about me and why I need your help and advice:

I have been the 'owner' of an rpg site in the msn communities for about 7yrs... we have a long and detailed history of our world. It was originally based on the d20 system but through personal likes & dislikes it has vastly grown and changed and the stats are now pretty much nothing like the original.. it has grown into a game of its own and im very proud of it

I am not sure, even after all these years what category online tabletop style rp falls into, we run live quests in chat with DMs and post storylines on the boards and roleplay in the chatroom too.. but other than msn ive never met anyone who has a name for it like the mmorpg's and others..

Why I need help is this.. currently we have always updated our member stats manually, every item purchased means another trip to the message boards, every gp earnt or spent, every point of exp, is all updated manually... at its peak i had over 400 members so you can imagine there was not much time for myself or the managers to play.. it became too labor intensive.. so i began the search to try and make it interactive.. now ive looked and ive looked and ive found various scripts and source codes like lotgd that you can download but these arent exactly what i want to do.. Ive moved some of the site to my own www. to try and learn and practice what i want but i cant seem to find any programs, tutorials or scripts to help me.. basically i want to keep web style appearance, all the pages, the same as they are except i want to make it so that a member has a character info box on their profile and when they join up they get the usual basic weapon, gold etc and then whenever they go to the shop, inn, weapons store etc and buy or sell something it is connected to their char info and updates automatically.. I do not want an entire pbbrpg like lotgd, i just want the shops etc to be linked so we dont have to manually update all the stats every day

Please please tell me there is someone who can program that knows how to do this and could possible show me the first couple of times.. once i know how to do it I can expand on it.. i have done that before when I used to use a chat bot.. my friend showed me the first basic parts of how to script it and then I was off and running and creating my own commands etc.. its just that I dont even know what it is I need to do this.. this world is my baby.. ive been building her for many years and really want to see her grow into her next beautiful stage.. i know that probably sounds silly.. but my blood is running through Thrae and i just want to see my dream turn into reality..
