Dervish coulda been a better choice as you see... but Monk can work just find spells similar to the dervish ones to replace them.

Blood Necros are what people call "Batteries" and thats to supply energy to the entire team, this one also supplys HP as well.

As a death necro you'll be dealing with minions, yes minion masters aren't that good at the beginning because everything is weak and short-lived, but near the end and sometimes in AB they are pretty devastating.

If you want pure dmg as a necromancer, go down the curses attribute line and pick up the spell "Spiteful Spirit" Learn how to place it and how to cover it with another hex(es) and enjoy the pretty yellow numbers ^^.
