No ones going to volunteer to work on a game that doesn't even have a decided genre... (no one woth having anyhow) Exspecially for a guy, which by the looks of things, has no other game development abilities other than "being a good leader" but you've already gone and discredited this by telling us of your failed attempt.
You've got to try and picture the impresion people are getting when you post these things...

Yes, i agree with 2swift here, to me this sounds like a "Hi, im twelve years old and im going to recreate runescape!" Kind of thread, i dont want to sound nasty but heres a few tips...
Stay way clear of your traditional: Quote:
I Want tons of races, Classes, abilities. You can fight monsters Its going to have DX19 Graphics, and everyone in the world will play it. It wil be filled with action and PVP with all of its billion players. It must be full of events! ( or else! ) I Need the worlds best on this, no noobs i need the world classed Sony online Entertainment team on this, NOW! Now lets just Analyse What i have just posted: Every and Any mmorpg can have Tons, of races, and classes. Be more specific like this: Quote:
Well, obviously ever mmorpg has NPC's ( Monsters ) or fightable computer controlled enemies. Be specific, about factions, wars between factions and different NPC ( Non Playing Character ) Races and classes you wish to have. Like this: Quote:
Well Obviously, it isnt so just stick with what you see as doable, Maybe more like the DX7 of Realmcrafter Standard would be a good starting place, or if you really knew you could try a 2D MMO Engine, then progress onto 3D once you have furthered your skills. 'It wil be filled with action and PVP with all of its billion players.' Now really, even excellent Indie mmos normally max out at seriously around 20 players online at one time, at the very maximum. So instead of huge PVP Battles, try and think more about Fun soloable instances, maybe miniraids of around 3 people to defeat a boss. for PVP, just have some easy to get to instances and run daily or weekly Events, where you tell people about the event so everyone can log on at that time and have some good PVP, with atleast 5 vs 5 Teams. 'It must be full of events! ( or else! )' Well, as the team leader, its your job to arrange events, set up big fun quests, group events and even player run events to make the consumer ( Player ) More happy and will be more excited by playing your mmorpg and building himself up for the next newest events. ' I Need the worlds best on this, no noobs i need the world classed Sony online Entertainment team on this, NOW!' Well, unless you have the money to pay for proffesional Modellers, Programmers and artists to spend there own time on your project, there is a large chance that it wont happen. I Advise, grab a copy of wings 3D ( www.wings3d.com ) Learn the basics of modelling, make some place holder models and then maybe once others see where the project is going they will be more inclined to helping you with there proffesional talents. And Heres some final pointers: Look Proffesional: Always try and keep it proffesional, more pro you look the more people will want to join and help. Keep it clear and simple: Dont over complicate things near the start, get your base design down and a couple of zones, then build onto them and progress. DECIDE!: Decide what your doing, choose the Genre, the base ideas, write a story and get your base design document done ( 3 pages, 4000 Words? ) that way it will be easier to explain to others what your game is all about. Who am i to be sitting here telling you all this? My name is Svothe, i have worked on MMORPG's for about three years, I Began with 2D, and worked my way up and now after tons of trial and error i have got to the point where i think i can assist others. Begin with something small, build your idea up. And never give up. Websites and Useful links for you: www.wings3d.com www.sketchup.com ?? www.realmcrafter.com www.turbosquid.com ( Free Models ) www.google.com ( Search for 2d MMO Engines ) Thank you Svothe - Lead Developer of Mech Tech P.S Apologies for spelling mistakes, touch typed this up very quickly. Yeah I would have to say your post heas is way to common. Internet teams have a higher chance of failing unless they have the proper resources, which by the looks of it you do not have.
I am guessing the biggest problem here is... your saying things are going to be in your game, and are already in it, when the game does not exist yet, and you probably do not know how to get most of these features into the game. Like swift said, no professional, or serious person looking for a team will consider a game be it 3d or 2d that has absolutely nothing for it, but an idea. You will need to properly prove that you are capable as a manager and developer to make your idea reality.
