New Coldplay Album

I bought it, I think that it is a great album, and I high recommend it to all of you. lol unless u don't like them, then that's fine, but I want to also raise a question to actually make this topic a tad bit more meaningful that just spam

Which bands do you guys think are more successful throughout the world?

The British Band (aka British Invasion) - ex. Coldplay, The Beatles, Muse (i think?) etc

American Bands- Led Zeppelin, Green Day, Pennywise, ZZ top, etc

May be a bit sad, but I downloaded the album a week or so before it came out. I skimmed through the album, and yeah, its great.

Viva La Vida is my fave.

The Beatles are the most financially successful musicians of all time. So, British I guess.

People often confuse financial success with musical quality.

lol, you dont know your music do you? Zeppelin is british,

and Coldplay and muse where not apart of the birish invasion(1964-1967) those where like, the who, the Beatles, the monkees, the rolling stones. and all those guys.

back to your question...

The Beatles where the most popular, but zeppelin rules the world... so which one?!? i pick the Beatles, the only pop music i like lol.

overall i can list a million great British bands and alot of great American sell out bands.

British wins. its not fair, they where around longer.

I'm pretty sure U2 aren't "British".

From my experience with music, most of the best musicians making the best music are not English. Those English that ARE up there are amazing, though.

thats an understatement... Queen is one of the greatest bands of all time... i mean they gave us such things as

"Dynamite with a laser beam" thats just Awesome.
