I just found out about this sorry if it's old news. Any way Soul Eater is this new anime by Square Enix which I accidentally watched instead of Naruto Shippuden lol damn Dattebayo

. In any case this anime looks very promising, the story line is cool, the action is nice and it's funny to boot. So take a look at it and let me know what you think =D.

I've been watching since episode one and I can say that I enjoy it. Each episode generally has some action in it and there isn't a lot of wasted time like with naruto.

yeah, but I don't think this one will be over 300 eps long

The series from what I heard is gonna be 26 episodes long anyways the manga is ALOT better and funnier.

Square Enix just sponsors it, if I remember correctly.

At any rate, the same thing happened to my cousin. Trying to watch Naruto, that is.

I got into it myself because of the mishap, lol.

I've read the manga so far, it's on like.. Chapter 48-ish. I do enjoy it quite a bit, but hate waiting for the next chapter to come out, they're either biweekly or monthly, I can't remember.. and OCD Kid Death is always amusing.

Does the Meister/Weapon system remind anyone of an extension of the zanpaku-to's from Bleach? I gotta say, I like Soul Eater's more, but to this date, can't quite figure out just how the Demon Weapons and Kishin blood work.. Anyway, anyone else notice that Ashura looks oddly similar to Kid Death?

I agree with you!

This anime kind of reminds me of One Piece comedy with a Bleach theme and it's really fun to watch =D.
It's kind of wierd how the boss is called Shinigami though...

Shinigami is roughly translated to Death God, or God of Death, if I remember correctly. So it's not all too weird.

Just means that these guys are underlings.

Manga = win.

I was reading it.. but it got boring.

I don't like animes that keep going back to where they started. I like adventures that keep growing if you know what I mean.

It just started to get more boring and ecchi that I just dropped it.
Its an okay story with a good idea behind it.

Drawing is good as well. I probably won't watch the anime.
I only watch anime if it passes the manga test now.
