while this does look like a nice game, what does bother me is that it will eventually have a p2p option which will unbalance the game. Though i'm sure most people wont bother with p2p for a browser game when they could spend on wow or something.

Heroes of War and Money is so free, it doesn't have any payment options and its a great multiplayer game if you turn based action.

When you say P2P? do you mean pay2play? If so, the game DOESN'T REQUIRE anyone to PAY, and acquiring credits without pay is still easily possible through tournaments, arm wrestling, races, buying them on the market and more.

Generally it will not "unbalance" the game(unless bill gates starts playing our game), becasue users who buy credits often play considerably less, because they don't have the time or experience as other players do. Also, when you are in a gang generally there will be a guy who's job is to collect as many coins as possible whether it be through normal means or paying.

This game engine runs a European game with around 45000 members and there is a perfect balance.
We do it for the costs of promoting the game, servers and people who work on it.

Thanks.

yes the credits thing is what i meant, but you're right it probably won't unbalance it.

I think my issue is with the quests.. I figured I'd have some noob ones to complete, but I guess not.

So click fest until I level.. lol

Hey phrozen thanks for giving the game another shot. As for the quests you can try the citizen quest

My Street ------> Drunkard ------> Send to detox
My Street ------> Garbage Cans ------> Clean up
My Street ------> Postman------> Help with boxes
My Street ------> Little Girl------> Send to school
My Street ------> Dog------>Send to Shelter
My Street ------> Shaft------>Fix

These crimes are easy, so i think this quest could be considered noobie enough

Also remember the Fitness center is a really effective way to increase your strength and attack so you can do crimes that require more and keep leveling getting stronger until you can Steal the laptop from the manager which is the highest paying crime. From there you should be able to save enough for an office and start racketeering businesses.

=) hope too see you around

I basically just clicked fested my way to more strength and such (and did training). I was not expecting it not to be turn based or limited actions per day. That is why it kinda confused me to start. It is kinda nice to be able to play as much as you want I guess.

The problem with the quests that I was having is that you need to level in order for your street to expand, so some of the quest I can't seem to do just because those npcs and such are not on my street yet.

No worries though, I get it now.

Perhaps a suggestion?

Maybe implement some way in the quest log with level indicators, or something to let you know that you can do them?

Okay, thanks for the input. I put it on the development list, not exactly a priority we're working on a sophisticated flash chat then the smaller updates will come next.
