I'm quite familiar with the placebo effect, but thanks for the info.

My intention was to remove rumours and misinformation. If by attempting to do that I also removed your hope, I apologise. But, to be honest, I can't regret dashing a hope that involves twisting Ryzom into a cash shop-infected freeloader haven.

No it failed because the game isnt worth p2p apart from the niche group who really like it, If the game went f2p with an the option for p2p with a bonus for doing so, it will be fine.

Yeah, that holds true to lots of mmorpg's these days, like coh and cov, tabula rasa, population is dwindling and not worth it. Good post.

How many of you people who support an F2P Ryzom have followed it closely for over three years, played it for 2.5+ years, and have spent a lot of time analyzing the game's nature and how it fits into the MMOG ecosystem?
