4) There are 8 spots in a GvG party. Almost every class gets used nowadays; Warriors, Dervishes and Assassins are the Frontline, Elementalist,Mesmer, Paragon, Ranger, Necro. are the midline and Monk is backline. Rits are usually used for running.

Well if you like PvP, then you would naturally like Factions more, because of its focus on PvP, right?
Anyways, yeah, go to pvxwiki to check out the different builds for different classes. The Guildwars classes don't fall into what you might expect, such as an elementalist being weak, and warriors being tanks.
I haven't played Guildwars in awhile, but might start it up again if I get some new campaigns. However, I remember being in one of those 12v12 battles (forget what it's called, exactly), and there was an E/D with crazy defense. I had a pretty standard minion master build, and I have to say when I ran into her I saw 0's galore, as all of my minions failed to do any damage on her.
However, E/D elementalists do crap damage. They give up one thing for another, making the PvP very balanced. Thus is why Guildwars PvP is so famed, and fawned over. It utilizes player intuition, and intelligence, rather than character level and armor. The PvP is truly amazing.
