Lol. kimmi has an invisible lvl 200 char. xD
I'll probably keep playing kLaTale until NALaTale is in OBT.
DEFINITELY less grindy than Maple.
But, that's speaking for kLaTale.

Compounding? You mean "Enchanting"?
Well, there's an NPC that sells different types of puzzle pieces.
These puzzle pieces give different effects and also have different levels.
Lvl 1 Intelligence, for example.
Each level has it's own range. For example, a Lvl 1 Intelligence Puzzle Piece
can give from +1 Int. to +3 Int. The higher the level, the higher the min. and max. ranges go.

Along with different effects, the puzzle pieces only fit into specific items.
For example, a Min./Max. Magic Power Puzzle Piece would only go into a weapon, more specifically, a weapon that a character from the "Magician" branch uses, meaning an instrument, staff, or orb.

Hope that answered your question. ^^

EDIT: Omg. I forgot success rates. xD
It would seem that the lower level a puzzle piece is, the higher the success rate.
Well, yeah, it's like that.
But, there are different puzzle pieces that have low success rates, even when it's low level.
Generally, lvl 1 Puzzle Pieces have a 95% Success Rate.

Is there such thing in Latale as quests to get 3000 of some item that drops on a 50% chance from a monster or like a quest to get an item that has a 0,00000001% of dropping and the reward is useless like a piece of ice?

Or Latale Quest makers, unlike Maple Quest makers, have a brain?
