Hello everyone, this is Ceres. i thought it would be a good idea to create this thread to stop random people for asking questions that were already answered before. if you want me to add your question to the list send me a pm.


Q: What happen to all the Questions? most of them are missing!!
A: As you should know Sandman has been using his admin powers and have deleted a few threads without stating a reason. It also looked like he has visted this thread and delete around 20 questions&answers without my permission. and im not happy with it either, it may be other moderators or admins.. i could understand the cb q&a being deleted but the other questions had nothing to do with it!

Q: Does ranged weapons such as guns,bows,crossbows and kunai skills require use items such as ammo/arrows ?
A: No, there arn't any items required to shoot ranged weapons. the ranged skills also need nothing but sp.

Q: What class can throw kunais?
A: Travelers have skills available when you choose the dagger weapon. There are two skill tree paths to choose from, you may choose to raise both of them, but you will lack sp for other skills such as passive skills for travelers. The first skill tree is based on melee, the skill motions are related to dancing with your weapon and illusions. the second skill tree for dagger travelers lets you throw kunais, bombs, and many more.

Q: What class can use heavy weapons or sub weapons?
A: Travelers can learn skills that lets you use heavy weapons (as a skill motion) instead of an equipment if you want something close to that choose the crossbow weapon. This weapon has unique skills to make you special in many ways. Don't forget this weapon is one of the strongest weapon in game too! ^^

Q: What new skills do you get for 2nd class?
A: When you advance into a 2nd class you get weapon skills with same motions but with improved graphic effects and damage. this means you'll have 2 same skills 1 with low graphics and lower damage 2 with greater graphic effects and higher damage. You also get your 2nd class passive skills and active skills that is not related to your weapon.

Q: Where can i find screenshots of this game?

Q: Are there any unique items in the game?
A: I have explained before, there are "special" items that can be earned by current monsters. (usually from minibosses) these type of items
have neat options such as +1 to current skills, high attack power and more! there are set items that can be earned from instant dungeons. those are dropped by regular monsters, so you could choose to go straight to the boss or grind on instant dungeon's field monsters.

Q: Are there any promotion videos for Latale?

Q: Will the English version of Latale have Movement Delay or Lag?
A: Maybe, if you have framerate problems you'll definately lag in the game stopping you from jump roping! you will most likely lag only when you live far from the servers.

Tip: there are no ways to play Og planet's Latale unless you use a proxy!

Q: Will OGplanet block foreign ips, including the Uk?
A: Most likely, Yes! it is a must. there is no hope for no ip blocks, this wasn't confirmed but from my experiance it will happen. if they're kind enough for the first time they will probably decide to block countries with their own versions.

reason: these type of games have terrible connection lag when you're playing overseas, it could some how effect the other users if it gets worse, so there is no hope for them to not blocking ips. its for the gamers out there, if they don't this game will be in big trouble! (IT HAPPENS DURING AN INSTAND DUNGEON RAID WITH A PARTY IN THE OVERSEAS)

Q: Gabd3v (youtube) - Can you run latale with Mac?
A: Can you even run other side scrollers with mac? the answer is No, you can't run Latale with Mac. you need a "normal" computer. -___-

Q: Does this game have a pvp system? & is there a guild vs guild system?
A: Yes, there is a pvp arena in the 2nd town called "Elias" there are many choices you could make before you pvp. you can choose to go to the arena with current ammount of people, pvp arena is channel linked!

Q: Is there a healing class in this game?
A: Yes, mages start out with heal skills available. it is in the water element skill tree, Artists usually start off as a healer. ^^

Q: What npcs do you have to meet to advance into 2nd class?
A: There arn't any npcs to talk to, all you have to do is reach lv.80 then go to the job change center located in 4th floor of ruin of abyss. when you fall all the way down a microphone will ask you what class you prefer to advance into, then it double checks if you're sure or not, once thats done you will be advanced into a 2nd class! here is a movie from mncast.

Q:How do you be a Agi/Dex character when the stats are auto?
A:Enchanting an equipment with a Agi or a Dex puzzle gives you hit rate and dodge rate, there are no stats that highers hit and dodge rates, the only stats in game is Str,Vit,Int,Luck. you can also higher Str/Vit/Int/Luck by enchanting equipment with your puzzles. there are also food items and pet buffs to boost your stats.

Q: How much Ely do you need to create a guild?
A: You require about 3mil Ely to create a guild and another 100k~5mil Ely [price depends on the guild marks quality] to add a guild mark next to your guild name.

Q: What is good about guilds?
A: The pros for guilds are stat ups, there are three different paths to choose for a guild, Order, Chaos, and Neutral

Order gives you dex stat ups, Chaos gives you Agi stat ups and Neutral gives you Vit stat ups.

Q: Is there anyway to reset skill points? i don't want to use the same weapon till lv.80!
A: There are sp reset books sold by npcs with red hats, it costs 100k. also you will have a free skill reset at lv.80. You can't use 1st class skills when you advance into Classes that have their own type of weapons (guns,dualblades only) so a free skill reset is a must. you can raise any weapon skill you prefer to use before gunslinger or blader advancement, but the other advanced classes with the same weapons require you to raise weapon skills of your choice.

Reason: this is because you get the same skills with modified graphic effects with a number 2 on it, if you learn the claymore skills before warlord class change as in example, once you class change you will have claymore #2 skills available - if you see spear #2 skills, please let me know. it "COULD HAVE" patched. ^.~

Q: How does compounding work?
A: Compounding? Do you mean "Enchanting"? There is an NPC that sells different types of puzzle pieces.
These puzzle pieces give different effects and also have different levels. Lvl 1 Intelligence, for example.
Each level has it's own range. For example, a Lvl 1 Intelligence Puzzle Piece
can give from +1 Int. to +3 Int. The higher the level, the higher the min. and max. ranges go.

Along with different effects, the puzzle pieces only fit into specific items.
For example, a Min./Max. Magic Power Puzzle Piece would only go into a weapon, more specifically, a weapon that a character from the "Magician" branch uses, meaning an instrument, staff, or orb.

Q: What is the max level in this game? is it more or less grindy than maple?
A: The max level is lv.200 but nobody has reached there yet, it is of course less grindy than maplestory. with the quests available you'll reach Lv.120 in less than two months, but it really depends on how long you play the game per day.

Q: Are Latale's quest worthless? i do not want to waste my time on stinky quests!
Q: No, the quest in latale are very easy to do. with its incredible experiance rewards it is the source to powerleveling.
they usually give potions and equipment, which helps you save extra money for the future!

Q: What are the top pvp classes in order?
A: This game is pretty well balanced, if we have to compare it with maplestory. anyways here is the order

1.Warlords - these guys are very powerful in damage and has a great range for a melee character. they also have decent vit to have enough hp, if you go Agi you could defeat many of the other classes. Agi bladers and Dex Warlords are most likely rivals. the
only character warlords have problem with are usually ranged classes and some melee classes like Guardians and Bladers.

2.Bladers - these guys are actually pretty powerful with incredible attack speed! i think they also move slightly faster than other character, these guys can destory the pvp arena with Decent Agi spec if you enchant your items or buy enchanted equipment from other users. though their weaknesses are Dex characters if they have a high dex spec being agi makes it useless. but they will most likely always need a dex pudding ( a food that boosts your dex ) to actually hit them well.

3.Temple knights - the class that has the most resistance to magic and melee! a crap load of tank. this isn't such a bad class either the only cons for this class may be that they have lower damage than most of the other classes (usually)

4.Sorcerers - the most destructive class of them all, some of the magic can get cancelled if opponent attacks with a skill that can cancel, you require a good timing to defeat sorcerers, cancelling their skills can give you a chance to win. but if you fail to cancel their skills you'll most likely be dead, unless you find another chance.

5.Gunslingers - these guys arn't so bad either, if you got common sense and timing senses you could hit the pvp rankings with this class. this class is "weak" but "fast" and another pro is that its "Ranged" it is easy to combo even in the pvp arena. their move speed buff makes them alot faster but the penalties in that is to lose attack power.. other than that its a pretty stylish class!

6.Guardians - this is the class i have been hating on when everyone asks how these classes are, its because i like this type of class and i wanted to be mean to you! xD! anyways this class isn't so bad either, its a pretty neat character if you learn to use it correctly, they arn't as good in mvp but are pretty decent fighters in pvp.

7.Treasure hunters - this class is very powerful, i'd vote this class as the most interesting class! a crossbow can be very annoying!!
the skill range is very long and the damage is pretty high! dagger treasure hunters arn't that bad either, you just need to move like a ninja/assasin, if you never go face to face against a ranged class you'll do wonders with daggers. before you advance into treasure hunters as a traveler you can learn passive skills that makes you do more damage when you backstab your opponents / monsters.

Q: What new skills do you get for 2nd class?
A: When you advance into a 2nd class you get weapon skills with same motions but with improved graphic effects and damage. this means you'll have 2 same skills 1 with low graphics and lower damage 2 with greater graphic effects and higher damage. You also get your 2nd class passive skills and active skills that is not related to your weapon.






Pros- This weapon is the second fastest weapon, the only weapon that has 3skill paths to choose from. (the others have 2)
Con- Has short range, and low damage.

Review: this weapon is preferred to be used by warriors and knights only. The knights have a 2nd class called "Guardians" who are specialized in knuckles. but they have a penalty from giving up shields - Defence loss is a big penalty!

A:Warrior - this class is very offensive and has an average ammount of defence, the main weapons they can use before class change are claymores (2H swords) and spears. this is the class to choose for "easy money"

Pros-This weapon is the most popular weapon for warriors for its looks, it has nice skill effects to start out with and has a decent attack power.
Cons-The penalty of having high attack power is the attack speed, its a bit slower than spears. claymore skills also use more sp than the spear skills.

Pros-This weapon is a bit faster than swords and are easier to use during the late 60s. uses less sp than sword skills
Cons-Its a faster weapon so it does have a penalty, it is a bit weaker than the sword.

There are two classes you can advance into. Warlords or Bladers



B:Knight - this class has alot of defence, but lacks in attack power. if you choose to use a knuckle and give up your shield, you will lack in both attack power and defence at the same time.

Pros-decent attack speed, you can equip shields for additional defence. neat weapon sprites.
Cons-low attack power, one skill tree has low graphic effects.

Pros-average attack power, you can also equip shields for additional defence because clubs are also a 1h weapon. has neat skill effects and is a good weapon type to start out with.
Cons-slower than short swords, ugly weapon sprites until the late 20s.

This job also has 2 classes to advance into. Temple Knights or Guardians



C:Magician - This class is bad in both attack power and defence, most mages are like that. they have a very high magic attack power and quick cast speed depending on what element you choose. this class is specialized in using element stones to give additional damage to your magic, the other classes can use element stones too but they have no effect on damage boosts.

Pros-if you equip a staff your character rides the staff instead of running. you can cast a normal element magic without learning anything with a staff by pressing the x button. has additional magic attack % on the staff option.
Cons- if a monster hits you your casting will cancel. Low defence

Pros-fast attack speed to cancel monsters attack, you can cast after canceling a monsters attack. every class can wear shields if they can wear 1 handed weapons (warriors need to unequip thier weapons to equip their shields)
Cons- No magic attack % boost

Talk about obvious, there are also 2 classes for mage, Sorcerer and Artist.



D:Traveler - This class is one of the most weakest job (in both attack and defence) to choose in the game. the only thing they must rely on is their criticals which only happens when you have high critical rates (their job skills lets you raise that)
there are rumors that luck raises a bit of critical rate, but im not so sure of that. this class has job skills to higher Ely earned, and higher rare rates!

Pros-this weapon is the fastest weapon in game. it has a decent range to start out with. its a good weapon to make money with.
Cons-penalties always appear, doesn't it? this weapon is also the weakest weapon in game. the skill effects arn't that great in the future.

Pros-one of the most strongest weapons in game. it has a longer range than bows. the skill graphics are gorgeous.
Cons-if you use weak attack your character punches instead of shooting with a bow its a very fast but a weak attack.

Pros- this is probably the 3rd fastest weapon in the game. the skill graphics are pretty decent. this is a very fun weapon to choose! and you can also cover travelers weak defence with shields available to wield! ^^
Cons- fast means weak. thats a fact!


there are also two classes for this job, Treasure hunter and Gunslinger.
