Its sad to see someone with such a closed mind. Mac's Linux pc's and Windows are all good OS's. For gaming purposes I would have to say Windows like you said but if you can learn how to use a linux pc its 100-200$ cheaper and can run windows just as good as a high end windows comp. Since its made by the community they know what needed to be fixed with Windows. Mac's are amazing computers and the desktop looks smexy. With virtual PC they are very viable as a gaming PC. Windows are good because of their varility and ability to upgrade.
The site I like for gaming comps is ibuypower.com but I don't see anything in your price range. Good luck if you find a good one send it to me I need a laptop for my brother in college. It wouldn't hurt to be able to play some games during a seminar or two =P |
